Ishareet Sohal participated in the 2024 Summer Undergraduate Internship Program (SUIP) hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently a Rutgers University student engaged in research within Dr. Lauren Poole's laboratory, focusing on liver fibrosis. On campus, she holds the position of President of the Asian Student Council, is a member of the Cap and Skull Honor Society, and leads a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting higher education among Native American groups throughout the United States. In her leisure time, she enjoys painting.
